Eligibility

Any business, organisation, or individual interested in promoting the growth and innovation of the AI industry in South Africa is eligible to enrol in the AI Academy.

Registration

Interested parties can register for the AI Academy by providing their personal and business details on the Academy's website or other registration platforms.

Fees

The AI Academy may charge fees for enrollment, training, or other services. The fee structure will be clearly communicated to the registrants and will be subject to change at the Academy's discretion.

Ownership and Use of Content

All content, including but not limited to text, images, and trademarks, on the AI Academy's website and related materials are the property of the AI Academy or their respective owners. Unless otherwise stated, no license or right to any copyright, patent, trademark or other proprietary interest of the AI Academy or any third party is granted to the registrants. Registrants may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute any content provided by the AI Academy without prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Confidentiality

Registrants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and any other sensitive information related to their enrollment in the AI Academy. The AI Academy will take reasonable measures to maintain the confidentiality of the registrants' information. Still, it cannot guarantee that all information will remain confidential due to the open nature of the Internet.

Cancellation and Refunds

If a registrant wishes to cancel their enrollment, they may do so by notifying the Academy in writing. The Academy may issue a refund, subject to its cancellation and refund policy.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property created by the registrants during their enrollment in the AI Academy will be owned by them. The Academy will not claim ownership of any intellectual property created by the registrants.

Enhanced Networking Opportunities

The Academy provides a platform for researchers and industry experts to collaborate and share their knowledge on new AI projects. This enables individuals and organisations to build valuable connections and further advance the AI industry in South Africa.

Information Submission

Any information submitted by registrants to the AI Academy through its website or other channels shall be deemed non-confidential and non-proprietary. Registrants represent that they have the lawful right to submit such information and agree not to submit any information unless they are legally entitled to do so. The AI Academy recommends that registrants not submit information they consider confidential due to the open nature of the Internet.

Liability and Disclaimer

The AI Academy makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on its website or provided through its services. The AI Academy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or other damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the website, the services provided by the Academy, or any site or service linked to by this site.

Termination

The Academy may terminate a registrant's enrollment if they violate any of the terms and conditions of the Academy or engage in any conduct that is harmful to the AI Academy or the AI industry in South Africa.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and any legal action or proceeding relating to the AI Academy shall be governed by the laws of South Africa without reference to its choice of law rules. The AI Academy may choose the jurisdiction of their preference as to where any legal proceedings against the Academy may be held. Registrants agree to comply with the laws of the jurisdiction from which they access the AI Academy's website and services.
